DealDropDown
DealDropDown, also known as Deal Drop Down, is an adware program that shows deals, special offers and pop-up and in-text coupon ads while a victimized PC user is browsing the web. DealDropDown can be installed as a browser add-on to Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox and Internet Explorer. Commonly, DealDropDown attacks all of the web browsers installed on the corrupted PC. Some of the pop-up advertisements displayed by DealDropDown might be infected or reroute target computer users to infectious websites; therefore, if the computer user clicks on any advertisement delivered by DealDropDown, the PC might get affected by a variety of malware infections. DealDropDown collects confidential information about the affected web user's online actions. The grabbed data is later used for targeted advertisements to be illustrated on the infected computer. The grabbed data might also be sold to third parties. DealDropDown might come packaged with other programs, incorporating but not limited to search engines. DealDropDown may result in annoying hits to the sponsored websites. DealDropDown will also replace the default home page, search engine and new tab page with anything else without the Internet user knowing about this.
