Datprot.exe is an essential component of the fake security application called Data Protection. Datprot.exe propagates via Trojans and once it is inside a PC, Datprot.exe will create a start-up registry entry. Datprot.exe is able to launch fake system scans, security alerts or pop-up warnings.
