Daphomost.com utilizes various, deceptive messages, as it tries to trick users into enabling its push notifications. The behavior of the page matches that of countless other rogue pages that propagate the same browser-based tactic. The goal of the dubious sites is to lure users into subscribing to their notifications as a way to start delivering unwanted advertisements to their computers.
To mask their true intentions, sites such as Daphomost.com create false impressions and mislead users about the consequences of clicking the presented 'Allow' button. Users could see an image of a robot and a message similar to:
'Click Allow if you are not a robot'
The problem with clicking the button is that users could then become recipients of questionable advertisements that could frequently interrupt their activities on the system. The advertisements may appear as pop-ups, banners, notifications, etc. They also could promote additional unsafe destinations similar to Daphomost.com.
