Cryptographic Locker is an extremely dangerous ransomware threat similar to the well-known cryptolocker ransomware known for encrypting files on an infected system. The Cryptographic Locker threat is known to be displayed as a message initially claiming that your files will be encrypted. It will then later explain that you can decrypt them through purchase of a private key. Payment for the supposed key goes through an e-payment service where you may or may not get the key to decrypt files. It is essential that the Cryptographic Locker threat be removed before it is able to encrypt files, which will basically cause damage to your system and stored data.
