Coupon Cactus is an adware program that shows pop-up ads, offers coupons, and sponsored links via a pop-up box on Walmart, Ebay, Amazon, and other online shopping websites that are visited by Internet users. These pop-up ads will be shown as boxes, which carry a variety of coupons that are available or as underlined keywords, which, if clicked, will illustrate an ad that claims it comes from Coupon Cactus. Coupon Cactus is an add-on for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome that is mainly embedded when the computer user installs other free programs. When the web user installs these free programs, they will also install Coupon Cactus. While being installed, Coupon Cactus will display a box, which incorporates related keyword suggestions, ads and sponsored links in the right top part of the compromised Internet browser, whenever the PC user will browse Expedia, Best Buy, Facebook or any other similar websites.
