Coupon Buddy is an adware application that installs itself on the hacked web browser by adding an unwanted add-on without a computer owner's authorization. While being installed on the corrupted machine, Coupon Buddy illustrates advertisement links and pop-up boxes that contain special offers, savings, and coupons from numerous products. Creators of Coupon Buddy declare that this application can give profit to online users by giving them regular updates for latest discounts for online shopping websites. Coupon Buddy may appear like a useful program; however, Coupon Buddy may reroute the compromised web browser to infected websites after clicking on a link of Coupon Buddy. Coupon Buddy comes bundled with other software products that PC users may download from unsafe websites. Coupon Buddy conceals itself as a necessary application for viewing the full content of the website. The specific application the PC users will be urged to install is packed with an adware tool such as Coupon Buddy and installs it without the computer owner's knowledge. Coupon Buddy starts sending pop-up messages and ads each time the PC user is surfing online shops.
