ControlCnt

ControlCnt is a rogue anti-spyware application from that same malicious family as Privacy Center. ControlCnt can enter a computer without user authorization with the help of sneaky Trojans. Once inside a computer system, ControlCnt will display numerous security notifications and scan reports that will all indicate that the system is infected. These fake security notifications are displayed in order to scare victims and then coerce them into purchasing the non-existent full version of ControlCnt. ControlCnt may also redirect users to criminal websites that promote the rogueware. In reality ControlCnt is a useless application that should be removed immediately after detection.
