'Contract Document' Email Scam

When checking their email boxes, computer users find numerous emails sent to them by unknown sources. In rare cases, these emails will be real. Therefore, before opening any unknown email attachment, the recipients should check its origin and even call the sender to be sure that there is no traps on it. This is the case with an email with the subject 'Contract Document' There is no 'Contract Document;' the fraudsters behind this email scheme are after the computer users' sensitive information.

To trick inexperienced computer users, the con artists claim that 'A new contract document has been shared for your review.' If the victims click on the link 'View Document' they will be tricked to provide their login credentials, personal information, bank account logins and much more. The collected information can be used to change online account passwords, purchase products and services, access the infected machine without consent, etc.

The email contining the 'Contract Document' scam has the following content:

'Subject: A New Contract Document Has Been Shared For Your Review 19/12/2022

Contract Document

SHARE-FILE.DOC

A new contract documents has been shared with you on pcrisk.com Sharepoint Storage.

If you see the 'Contract Document' email scam in your email box, delete it immediately and keep the good work by paying attention to what you are accessing.
