Concertain.xyz tries to lure users into enabling its push notifications, by displaying deceptive and clickbait messages. The site also is likely to cause unwanted redirects to other, similarly untrustworthy, destinations on the Internet. Users also should note that encountering Concertain.xyz could have been caused by such unwanted redirects in the first place. It is not uncommon for sites using rogue advertising networks or PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) hiding inside the user's computer to be the culprits. 

The page itself may show various fake scenarios. One confirmed example includes the display of a video window that apparently cannot be played. The implication is that to resolve the non-existent issue, users have to click on the 'Allow' button. Concertrain.xyz also will pretend to be doing a CAPTCHA check by showing a message similar to:

'Click Allow to confirm you are not a robot'

Once the users press the button, they will be granting important browser permissions to this dubious page. Concertain.xyz will now be able to generate intrusive and annoying advertisements that could severely diminish the browsing experience on the device. More importantly, the advertisements could lead to other online tactics, including fake giveaways, phishing pages, or portals trying to spread intrusive browser hijackers, adware or other PUPs.
