Codec-C is an unwanted add-on that should be avoided by PC users. Codec-C is not a valuable program. Codec-C is a malware threat which pretends to be an update allegedly necessary for watching video online. While loading the codec, Codec-C can embed obviously not related advertisements into web pages in the place where they would not show in agreement with the web page policy for publishing commercials; that is to say, the ads are not published, but simply imposed on the viewer by the hijacker disguised as a codec. Codec-C can hide the Start Menu program in Windows and change homepage for all web browsers. Select a trustworthy anti-malware application to remove Codec-C immediately after detection.
