All of the sites dedicated to running this particular tactic operate in a nearly identical manner. They display one or more deceptive messages that, despite having different text, always direct users towards clicking the shown 'Allow' button.

Common misleading scenarios include the deceptive page pretending to be doing a CAPTCHA check, promising that users will win a reward, or that a file will become available for download. also has been observed to show a buffering video window. The messages accompanying the supposed video imply that there is a playback issue. They may be a variation of:

'Your Video is Ready'

'Press Play to start the video'

'Press Allow to watch the video'

If receives the browser permissions it requires, it will begin delivering intrusive notifications and advertisements to the user. The advertising materials may contain offers for dubious software applications or cause redirects to more untrustworthy or outright unsafe websites.
