Better-search.net is a suspicious online search provider, which may be used to deliver intrusive pop-up ads, messages and banners in the Web browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and other well-known websites. Unwanted browser diversions to Better-search.net may occur regardless of the Web browser or the search service installed on the PC, and if pop-up advertisements, banners and messages from Better-search.net are shown on the screen of the computer system whenever the PC user is carrying out an online search in any major search engine or is visiting any unidentified website or a genuine website that might have been compromised, then the computer system may be infected with browser hijackers, adware or potentially unwanted applications. Better-search.net is designed to probably make a profit from raised website traffic and clicks on commercial ads. Adware and browser hijackers pertaining to Better-search.net may propagate stealthily through suspicious download websites or genuine websites that have been compromised, spam emails containing malicious attachments or links to harmful websites.
