The Bazzsearch.com domain hosts a search service that features the same code as Vudu Search, Splintersearch.com and Search.chunckapp.com. You might be presented with the Bazzsearch.com search service on your new tab page if you install the BazzSearch browser extension. We have received reports that the BazzSearch browser extension makes changes to the Internet settings in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer so that Web surfers are redirected to Bazzsearch.com when they open a new tab and click the home page icon.
The BazzSearch program is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that invites users to search the Internet via Bazzsearch.com. The Bazzsearch.com domain may seem like a search aggregator, but it is a redirect-gateway to Search.yahoo.com. The Bazzsearch.com redirect-gateway does not support a valid security certificate and does not utilize industry standards to protect its visitors. The terms of use and privacy documentation on Bazzsearch.com delivers misleading information in the sections — 'Security', 'Third Party Content' and 'With whom we share information?' The BazzSearch app may use information like your browsing history, recently downloaded files and software configuration to help the marketers on Search.yahoo.com deploy targeted commercials on your screen. Educated PC users might want to avoid Bazzsearch.com and remove the associated browser extension with the help of a reputable cybersecurity instrument.
