The goal is to trick the user into subscribing to the push notification services of the respective scam websites by employing manipulative social engineering tactics.

The website will then be able to start generating monetary gains for its creators through the delivery of unwanted and intrusive ads on the affected device. Closing the browser at this point will have no effect on the display ads.
