AVT.exe Description

AVT.exe also known as 'Antivirus (avt.exe)' is a fake anti-virus that is installed by fake alert Trojans that advertise rogueware on victims' desktops. Upon execution, AVT.exe will scan a system for legitimate security applications and then it will attempt to disable them or have the victim remove them by convincing the victim that the application(s) will degrade the performance of the system. AVT.exe will then display fake security notifications informing a victim that his/her system is infected and the only solution is to purchase its full version. Ensure that you do not fall for this online scam.
