AutoRun.AEC is a network worm that attempts to spread across existing networks by exploiting computers with weak or default passwords. AutoRun.AEC may also be distributed via e-mail as a malicious e-mail attachment or link. AutoRun.AEC creates a start-up registry entry on an infected computer, making it difficult to manually remove.
