AutoRun.AEC
AutoRun.AEC is a network worm that attempts to spread across existing networks by exploiting computers with weak or default passwords. AutoRun.AEC may also be distributed via e-mail as a malicious e-mail attachment or link. AutoRun.AEC creates a start-up registry entry on an infected computer, making it difficult to manually remove. AutoRun.AEC will cause a computer's performance to deteriorate and drop other malicious files onto an infected system. A reliable malware removal tool should be used to automatically remove AutoRun.AEC.
