Antivirus Live 2010 is a misleading application created by cyber-criminals to trick victims into wasting their hard earned cash by purchasing it. Antivirus Live 2010 can be downloaded from malicious websites; however it is typically installed onto victims' machines by stealthy Trojans. When inside a machine, Antivirus Live 2010 will launch a fake online system scan which will claim that the system is infested with harmful computer parasites. Antivirus Live 2010 will also generate alarming security alerts and pop-ups that strongly advise the victim to purchase its "full" version in order to remove all the "detected" computer threats.
