Adware.CodecV, otherwise known as CodecV or Codec-C produced by AllpremiumSoft, is an ad-supported Web browser plug-in/add-on which, when installed on a PC, may cover the screen of a computer with pop-up, banner and in-text link ads. Adware.CodecV may proliferate and invade the computer through a variety of packed free applications when installing the programs. The CodecV browser extension encompasses a variety of features that may make modifications to the default or custom settings of the Web browser such as the default start page and search provider in the built-in search box of the Web browser. Adware.CodecV may insert alternative 'page not found' functionality. Adware.CodecV may enable search from the address bar of the Web browser.
