The con-artists claim that unless the users pay them $500 in Bitcoin, they will distribute the pornographic content featuring the victim to their whole family and all of their colleagues.

The conmen are bluffing in the hope that the user will be so intimidated by their claims that they will pay them the $500 quickly.
