You-Bar is a Potentially Unwanted Program that is created by Super Web LLC. You-Bar is advertised as a way of adding helpful graphic content to Web browsers to enhance the computer user's online experience. However, the true purpose of You-Bar is to generate advertising revenue at the expense of computer users, causing a wide variety of symptoms in the process.

You-Bar Bars Your Free Browsing
You-Bar may affect the most popular Web browsers on Windows, including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox and is usually bundled with low quality freeware. You-Bar tracks information about the computer user's online activity and affected Web browser settings, sending this information to a third party that may use it for marketing purposes. Computer users will generally first discover that something is wrong with You-Bar after You-Bar changes the affected Web browser's default search engine and homepage. When trying to use the affected Web browser as normal, You-Bar may redirect it to certain sponsored Web pages and display a large number of advertisements or insert marketing material into Web pages viewed by the PC user.
Knowing the Symptoms that May Be Associated with You-Bar
If you are experiencing symptoms associated with You-Bar, it is important to remove You-Bar. This may be done by uninstalling You-Bar using the Control Panel. However, You-Bar may reinstall itself automatically or expose your computer to various other PUPs. Because of this, malware analysts advise computer users to use a strong anti-malware program to scan the affected computer once You-Bar has been uninstalled. It may be necessary to restore your Web browser settings to normal, such as replacing your default search engine and homepage settings, which are often changed by You-Bar.
