XP Guardian

XP Guardian is a fake anti-spyware application descending from the same family as Antivirus Pro 2010 and PC Antispyware 2010. XP Guardian is distributed by Trojans and generates fake online system scans that produce exaggerated results of malware infections on a system. XP Guardian also displays security notifications and pop-ups to further scare a user into purchasing its "full version". Users should never spend their money on XP Guardian; it is not a legitimate security application.
