Windows Optimization & Security is a clone of the rogue application called Windows System Optimizator. Its main distribution channels being Trojans and malicious websites, Windows Optimization & Security can be secretly downloaded and executed on a poorly protected PC. When inside a machine, it will tamper with the system settings and block access to certain websites and applications. Then Windows Optimization & Security will bombard a victim with exaggerated scan reports and system alerts claiming that the system has numerous malware infections. The security notifications are fabricated and are only displayed to coerce a victim into purchasing the full version of Windows Optimization & Security. Windows Optimization & Security can't detect or remove computer malware and should be removed from a PC upon detection.
