Technical support tactics are very commonly used by con artists that want to increase the sales of an application that, otherwise, will not be welcomed by computer users due to its poor performance. Windows 10 users may receive the fake alert 'Your Windows 10 is not Updated.' However, they need to know that it is a technical support tactic, which intent is to convince the computer users that they must download and install a security program or a system cleaner that is completely useless and, consequently, unnecessary.

The 'Your Windows 10 is not Updated,' just like other technical support tactics may be very persistent and give the computer users a hard time to remove it from their machines. This is an addictional tactic that they use to make believe that unless the computer users accept their offer, they will not be capable of executing any action. That is not true. There are two options to get rid of the 'Your Windows 10 is not Updated' support scam: by opening your Task Manager and stopping its process or by using a trustworthy malware scanner, which will detect the 'Your Windows 10 is not Updated' support scam's presence and remove all the corrupted processes linked to it.
