You may see Window Promo listed as an additional component under the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' option of freeware packages. However, the Window Promo application is adware and might slow down your computer and redirect you to insecure online stores. The Window Promo adware may attract users to install it by claiming to employ a very sophisticated engine for finding the best deals on the Internet, but it may crash your Internet browser. The Window Promo adware is known to affect browsers based on Internet Explorer, Chromium and the Mozilla project. The Window Promo adware may use ActionScript3 to show pop-up windows, video ads, recommended offers, coupons, vouchers, discounts and banners while you surf the Internet.
