The Win32/TriMore.A malware is categorized by malware researchers as a trojan that is used by hackers to steal sensitive information like credit card data, banking log-ins, and social media credentials. The TriMore trojan is deployed in spam emails as an attached archive with a double extension and could travel embedded in freeware installers from suspicious Internet sites. You might be interested to know that Win32/TriMore.A doesn't create copies of itself and places its files in the system folder under the Windows directory. Additionally, the TriMore trojan can connect via HTTP to remote servers to download and run a keylogger in order to record the user's keystrokes. The malware researchers add that the TriMore trojan writes the collected data on a .INI file and sends it as an email via the SMTP protocol. As stated above, the Win32/TriMore.A malware is a threat to your valuable user credentials, and you might want to use a trusted anti-malware application to protect your OS.
