Win32/Spy.SpyEye.CA is a Trojan with spyware functionalities that is used by cybercrooks to grab personal information in a variety of Internet browsers. Win32/Spy.SpyEye.CA steals confidential information such as login credentials, bank account and credit card data from victims. To capture sensitive information, Win32/Spy.SpyEye.CA traces the affected PC user's Internet surfing activities and collects information inserted by computer users. Then, Win32/Spy.SpyEye.CA writes the gathered data into falsified forms designed by itself or stolen from genuine forms and transfers them to a distant server, instead of the one they are meant to be transferred. Win32/Spy.SpyEye.CA may also install an unwanted toolbar on the compromised web browser and obtain any data put into its online forms.
