Win32:KillApp-W is a Trojan with backdoor capabilities, which allows cybercriminals to log screenshots, steal confidential data, and obtain remote access and control over the compromised PC from a remote server. Win32:KillApp-W is able to stop running applications. Win32:KillApp-W mainly affects security programs, such as anti-virus and firewall. Win32:KillApp-W is distributed via spam email messages, dangerous websites and web-links. Win32:KillApp-W has to be run by a computer user to corrupt the affected PC. Local infection may be transmitted through removable devices, floppy drives, and DVD-ROM. While being executed, Win32:KillApp-W initiates an attack that makes changes to a variety of settings on the targeted machine. Win32:KillApp-W also downloads potentially malevolent files and modifies the Windows Registry to execute typical payload whenever you turn your computer on. Win32:KillApp-W can take over your privacy by stealing private details, such as user names and passwords.
