Win32/Alureon.DGE can download and run malicious files and corrupt the web browser to redirect to suspicious websites and report infected web user's queries performed with renowned search tools. Win32/Alureon.DGE enables cybercriminals to intercept incoming and outgoing Internet traffic in order to collect confidential data such as user names, passwords and credit card details. Win32/Alureon.DGE may also enable attackers to forward infected data to the corrupted machine. Win32/Alureon.DGE may change DNS settings on the host computer to enable cybercriminals execute damaging activities. Remove Win32/Alureon.DGE immediately after detection.
