The WhatsappTime program is offered on Whatsapptime.timeapp-studio.com as a desktop application for WhatsApp users, but it is not associated in any way with the Facebook WhatsApp Inc. The WhatsappTime is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware capabilities because it might change your Internet settings to load advertisements in your Internet client. The WhatsappTime program is supposed to allow users to synchronize their chat messages on their mobile phone with their PC desktop and send text messages to Facebook and other WahtsApp users. Keep in mind that WhatsappTime is not developed and maintained by WhatsApp Inc. and your account may be hijacked by third parties. As stated before, the WhatsappTime program may inject in-text hyperlinks to online stores and promotional offers. The WhatsappTime application may install a plug-in to your browser to show pop-up windows loaded with marketing offers and welcome you to buy items from sponsors.
The WhatsappTime program may run in your system background and show notifications of incoming messages in your bottom right corner like Skype would. The WhatsappTime app may recommend you to install tools like AnonymizerGadget and Translate Genius to expand its functionality. Security investigators alert that the WhatsappTime IM client is not licensed by WhatsApp Inc. as an official desktop version of their mobile application and may transmit your text, voice and video messages via unencrypted channels. It is not a good idea to send information via the WhatsappTime IM client, and you might want to remove it. You can delete the binary associated with the WhatsappTime program by using a trustworthy anti-spyware solution.
