Webquizspot.com

Malware creators have designed Webquizspot.com as a rogue website with the only purpose of generating dubious advertising content or redirecting users to potentially harmful online products and services. Common for websites like Webquizspot.com is that users do not access them intentionally. Instead, people get redirected to such online tactics by corrupted advertisements or a Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA) that has managed to install itself unnoticed on their computers. PUAs not only cause undesired redirects, but they can also run their own deceptive advertising campaigns by flooding devices with sponsored third-party pop-ups. Furthermore, many of them have features that collect user data, leading to severe privacy issues and financial losses.

Webquizspot.com tries to convince users to accept push notifications by showing a fake message that asks visitors to click on an 'Allow' button to continue watching some video content on the page:

'Webquizspot.com wants to Show notifications

Click the Allow button to subscribe to push notifications and continue watching'

As the website is empty, though, the only result for the user from hitting the 'Allow' button is that Webquizspot.com will get permission to present countless advertisements and banners to their screen. Such notifications do not depend on a browser, so they will show up even if the tactic's victim is not surfing the Internet currently.

Webquizspot.com's permission can be deleted from the browser's Settings, yet this online fraud is usually related to an underlying PUA that redirects users to the website. To get rid of the annoying advertisements, users need to remove that PUA as well. It is recommended to use an automated anti-malware tool to free your device from unwanted applications.
