Web Amplified is a Possibly Unwanted Program (PUP) that may appear as a browser extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Web Amplified is related to an adware add-on that pushes advertisement content into the user's Web browser. Web Amplified's advertising consists of constant display of banners, coupons, discounts and pop-ups. Web Amplified may lead computer users to questionable websites where other PUPs and adware may be installed automatically on their machines. PUPs and adware are typically distributed with installers of free applications, and computer users may reveal unwanted extras by using the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' option. The Web Amplified adware extension may use your browsing history as a reference when displaying advertisement content, and you may want to use a credible anti-spyware tool to get rid of such a disturbing program.
