If your browser is loading many ads by Weather Inspect, it is very likely that you have installed a weather widget that relies on the support of advertisers heavily. We have received reports that free program packages may invite the user to install a free app titled 'Weather Inspect ' that does not offer ownership information and has no site on the Internet. Samples of the Weather Inspect program were submitted to a research team, and there were troubling discoveries. The Weather Inspect software may run from the system tray area and present users with 263x489 pixels large window titled 'Weather Inspect.' The Weather Inspect software appears to support automatic geolocation detection, and it does not allow the users to define their locations manually. The Weather Inspect window may offer a brief overview of the current meteorological conditions regarding temperature and the type of weather.
Many users may like the clean and compact presentation of the Weather Inspect window, but you might want to know that it is recognized as adware by cyber security specialists. An in-depth analysis showed that the Weather Inspect program is intended to work as a remote-controlled ads provider. While you will receive limited weather forecast by Weather Inspect, many advertisements may be injected to all pages loaded in the default Web browser. The Weather Inspect adware achieves that by altering the page header and footer. You may find banners and pop-ups by Weather Inspect on every site you access. As long as the Weather Inspect adware is running in the system background, you may be fed promotional materials from sponsors to Weather Inspect. The Weather Inspect adware may force Web browsers like Google Chrome to open new tabs and pop-ups with content provided via hxxp://bigpicturepop.com/redirect/[RANDOM DIGITS]. The site functions as a custom ad distribution platform that is aimed to facilitate the display of marketing materials generated through Weather Inspect. We are not sure where the ads by Weather Inspect come from because the hxxp://bigpicturepop.com/redirect/[RANDOM DIGITS] is a redirect-gateway and you may end up on a respectable site and load a phishing page. PC users that experience advertisements by Weather Inspect might be interested in using a trusted anti-malware tool to clean their systems and block adware from being installed via software bundling.
