Companies creating shady Chrome extensions that have very little usefulness to computer users seems to be a growing trend to get some quick pay-per-click revenue. The Your Weather Info Now is classified as Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). This means that despite the fact that it's not an unsafe application, it could still affect your browsing experience negatively. The Your Weather Info Now may go behind your back and change the settings of your browser. The most obvious of these alterations would be the new homepage that the Your Weather Info Now sets for the user automatically. The page is search.hyourweatherinfonow.com, and it is rather poorly designed with an overly simplistic interface. There's a search bar in the middle of the page and six buttons right under it. Three of those buttons link to different weather websites, and the rest are links to Amazon, Gmail and YouTube. There are a few peculiar design choices that the creators of the Your Weather Info Now have made – for some reason there is another search bar in the top left corner, and in the middle of the screen there's a clock that is useless completely having in mind that we all have a clock in the bottom/top right of our screens.
Furthermore, the whole extension may not be useful particularly since all the information it offers in exchange for the user installing it is available just a few clicks away in any browser. It is advisable that you uninstall the Your Weather Info Now because you're likely to experience more negative effects than positive. In case you don't manage to do this manually, there are plenty of security software available, which would take care of your issue in no time.
