W32/Sality.gen is a Windows platform virus. On entering a PC, W32/Sality.gen will infect the Win32 PE executable files. W32/Sality.gen will start a service to listen on a random UDP Port and create a copy of itself in certain paths. The registry will also be modified and W32/Sality.gen will create potentially harmful files on the system.
