Vtools Toolbar is an unwanted toolbar/potentially unwanted application that can be installed to the corrupted PC together with freeware and shareware programs that PC users can download from the Internet. Vtools Toolbar makes modifications to the hijacked web browser and strives to push irrelevant advertisement websites. Vtools Toolbar can be embedded into Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Vtools Toolbar uses tricky techniques to install itself onto compromised Internet browsers, and because of the consequences the victim has to cope with it later. Vtools Toolbar all the time interferes into the victimized computer user's browsing activity. Vtools Toolbar repeatedly shows numerous pop-up ads that include sponsored links. If the PC user clicks on them, cybercriminals will earn money by diverting the affected PC user to a supported website. Vtools Toolbar gives Internet users search results that are based on supported websites. Vtools Toolbar will considerably slow down the attacked PC's performance.
