VSCodec PRO is a fake video codec promising increased quality of media files, but not delivering. In fact, VSCodec PRO may in fact cause problems with the sound settings, while displaying numerous false alert messages. One such fictitious security notification may read: "Fatal Error. Media system on your computer is corrupt. Update your sound and video codec immediately to resolve this issue." Following this prompt will cause you to be redirected to the VSCodec-Pro.com/purchase.html domain, where you are persuaded to purchase this malicious program.
