VirusResponse Lab 2009, Virus Response Lab 2009 or VirusResponse Lab 2009 2.1, is a rogue anti-spyware program created by Russian hackers. VirusResponse Lab 2009 may infect users through fake Online Security centers or the user may have downloaded a fake video codec bundled with Trojan Zlob. Once Zlob is installed, the user may receive numerous popups and alerts stating that the user's computer system is flooded with spyware. Unless the user purchases VirusResponse Lab 2009's full version, the imaginary spyware infections will not be removed. VirusResponse Lab 2009 does not have the ability to detect nor remove spyware infections, VirusResponse Lab 2009 is a scam and should be treated as so. Aside from these corrupt tactics, Trojan Zlob is also able to open a security hole in the user's computer system through which additional parasites may be installed.
In addition, VirusResponse Lab 2009 may run a fake computer system scan and display erroneous scan results only to trick the user into believing he/she is infected with spyware. The links provided to "solve" the user's spyware issues may redirect them to malicious websites that promote rogue VirusResponse Lab 2009's full version as a real spyware remover.
VirusResponse Lab 2009 may cause system slowdowns and data loss. VirusResponse Lab 2009 is a clone of AntivirusLab2009.
