Updateyoursecurity.com is a browser hijacker that promotes the rogue anti-spyware application called System Security 2009 (otherwise referred to as System Security). Trojan viruses infiltrating your system, modify browser settings in order to redirect web-surfing activities to the updateyoursecurity.com domain, where a fake online scanner proceeds to scan your computer for infections. Various threats are soon reported, most of which are fictitious, and updateyoursecurity.com recommends purchasing and installing System Security 2009 in order to combat these parasites.
