Update-critical.com is a bogus 'critical browser' update website, which includes a malware infection found as Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT. Update-critical.com provides PC users, who see downloads relevant to whatever Internet browser they use, with supposed updates for numerous Internet browsers. When landing on Update-critical.com, both Firefox and IE pages declare that there's a 'critical update' required to keep the web browser safe. The page design seems to be somewhat variable in quality. The PC user will end up with FirefoxUpdate.exe, ChromeUpdate.exe or IEUpdate.exe based on which download route he/she took. Regardless of the name, the same file is downloaded. If the computer user aims to to leave any of the pages, before or after downloading, and have scripting enabled, which he/she probably does, then he/she will quickly find he/she is locked in tight for the ride with a prompt that simply will not disappear no matter how many times he/she hits 'Leave Page'.
