The Unfriend List is a Web browser extension that is advertised as a handy utility that can tell you if any of your Facebook friends unfriend you. This is the extension's only function, and it appears that the Unfriend List works as expected. The official website of this software claims that the Unfriend List is free-to-use and will always be free, but its publisher also mentions that the Unfriend List is ad-supported. Ad-supported software isn't uncommon, but in the case of the Unfriend List, the ads displayed may get in the way of your Web browsing habits. Anti-virus software developers classify the Unfriend List as adware, and many popular anti-malware applications may detect and remove the Unfriend List if it is present on your computer. This only means one thing – the Unfriend List may not be a program you want to have on your computer, and you should remove it if you want to stay safe online and keep annoying advertisements out of your Web browser.
The Unfriend List extension may not always be installed with the user's knowledge, and even people who don't use Facebook or other social media websites may find the Unfriend List on their computers. This strange occurrence may happen because the Unfriend List may often be included in low-quality application bundles that may use deceptive installation instructions to trick users into installing 3rd-party programs and apps. If you are being bothered by the 'Unfriend List Ads,' and you wish to remove this extension from your computer, you should consider removing it with the assistance of a trustworthy anti-malware software suite.
