Troj/FakeAV-BBN
Troj/FakeAV-BBN is a Trojan application that distributes and installs rogueware onto users' computers. Once inside a PC, Troj/FakeAV-BBN will typically create a file under Application Data and make some modifications to the Windows registry. These modifications will cause the rogueware to run with every system start-up and will also generate a number of misleading security alerts or pop-ups. This is done to trick a user into thinking that his/her system is infected and then prompt him/her to purchase the "full" version of the particular rogueware, which is often Antivirus Soft. Troj/FakeAV-BBN may also be a threat to a victim's confidential information therefore the parasite must be removed from your computer upon detection.
