Troj/FakeAV-BAH

Troj/FakeAV-BAH is a Trojan horse that displays fake security notifications and disables security software found on a compromised PC. When executed, Troj/FakeAV-BAH disguises itself as a legitimate anti-spyware or anti-virus application. Troj/FakeAV-BAH generates bogus warnings, pop-ups, scan reports and security alerts in order to trick its victims into thinking that their computers are infected. The victims will also be strongly advised to purchase rogue security software in order to remove the purportedly detected malware threats. Troj/FakeAV-BAH is a misleading program that should be removed with a reliable anti-spyware program immediately after detection.
