TROJ_ARTIEF.NTZ is a Trojan that distributes and installs a backdoor Trojan called BKDR_RARSTONE.A on the compromised PC. TROJ_ARTIEF.NTZ circulates via a spam phishing email that carries a specially-crafted .DOC file, detected as TROJ_ARTIEF.NTZ. Once executed, TROJ_ARTIEF.NTZ downloads a malicious file that attempts to fool recipients into thinking it is a legitimate document. If a PC users opens an infected attachment of a bogus email message, his/her computer will be corrupted by TROJ_ARTIEF.NTZ.
