Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D
Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D is a Trojan that comes from the Urausy family. Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D aims at blocking the victim's access to the compromised PC and asks to pay a fine via Ukash and Paysafecard to unlock the computer. Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D prevents the target PC user's access by delivering a full screen pop-up notification incorporating a fake warning message. Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D often conceals itself as an alert from security institutions, which states that the attacked computer user breached certain laws. Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D is dropped and installed onto the corrupted PC using a variety of online websites that illicitly show videos. This website will ask PC users to download a player, which is , in actuality, a malware infection that is found as Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D. While being installed, Trojan:Win32/Urausy.D modifies system settings and starts displaying the bogus notifications.
