Trojan.Spy.YEK
Trojan.Spy.YEK is a Trojan that was created to spy on corporate networks. Trojan.Spy.YEK is able to infect computer systems through a backdoor allowing it to go undetected. After infection, Trojan.Spy.YEK will register itself as a listening agent on the infected system where it is able to gather personal data. The collected data from the infected system is usually sent to a remote FTP server. Trojan.Spy.YEK has also been found to utilize a command and control server to listen for its next set of instructions similar to a botnet parasite. Among the data collected by Trojan.Spy.YEK are emails, passwords, addresses and system information. Trojan.Spy.YEK is known to run on any version of Windows from Windows 95 to the latest Windows 7.
