Trojan.Ransomlock.X is a Trojan that locks targeted computer system and does not enables a victim to use it. Trojan.Ransomlock.X displays a bogus pop-up alert, which declares to be sent by the law enforcement. The falsified pop-up warning message associated with Trojan.Ransomlock.X declares that the computer user has been identified to perform illicit actions on the PC. Trojan.Ransomlock.X then demands a ransom of 100 Euro to be paid through Ukash or Paysafecard to unlock it. While being run, Trojan.Ransomlock.X creates the specific file on the compromised PC.
