Trojan.Ransomlock!g53

Trojan.Ransomlock!g53 is a ransomlock Trojan that is used by attackers to deliver ransomware to targeted computers. Trojan.Ransomlock!g53 blocks the screen of the corrupted PC and does not allow the attacked PC user use the computer. Trojan.Ransomlock!g53 covers the screen of the infected computer with a fake pop-up alert and blames the victim for violation of certain copyright laws. Trojan.Ransomlock!g53 then forces the target PC user to pay a supposed fine of a certain amount of money via Ukash or MoneyPak to restore access to the contaminated computer. When run, Trojan.Ransomlock!g53 downloads potentially malevolent files. Trojan.Ransomlock!g53 also make modifications to the Windows Registry by creating and modifying registry entries in order to lower the ratings for specific zones on the affected compyter, thereby raising the possibility to establish a remote connection.
