TrojanPWS.Zbot.y
TrojanPWS.Zbot.y is a hazardous Trojan that is a component of a United Parcel Service (UPS) fake email that carries false information: 'A new invoice is now available in the UPS Billing Centre. Please refer to attached file for more details'. The title of the malicious email is 'Your UPS Invoice is Ready'. The spam UPS email has an attachment named 'UPS-Billing-Invoice-Notification-809288436661915.zip'. Each declares to come from UPS Billing Center, that you can view, manage and pay your UPS invoices from a single online location. The zip file encompasses the 'UPS-Bailling_Notification-Details.exe', which is TrojanPWS.Zbot.y, a banking Trojan used to steal banking credentials involving confidential data such user name, password and credit card number from the victim. By gaining cookies and accessing other private details, scammers can extract a lot of personal information which can be used to raise their possibilities to gain access to the affected PC users online banking account. If you have received such UPS emails, do not open the attachment and delete the unwanted email message as soon as you can.
