Trojan.Newarxy is a Trojan that permits a remote cybercriminal to use a compromised PC as a proxy server. Trojan.Newarxy can circulate on the Internet through other malware infections. Trojan.Newarxy can also propagate via file-sharing networks, otherwise known as peer-to-peer connection. Trojan.Newarxy encompasses the backdoor capability that permits a remote cybercriminal to steal confidential data such as a username and passwords that are stored on the attacked computer system from the victimized PC user. If Trojan.Newarxy is launched on the corrupted PC, it creates potentially infected system files. Trojan.Newarxy also makes modifications to the Windows Registry. Trojan.Newarxy allows a webcam and record shots. Trojan.Newarxy logs keystrokes on the affected PC.
