Trojan.Win32.FraudPack.apxz is a Windows platform Trojan associated with the rogue application called Security Central. On entering a system, Trojan.Win32.FraudPack.apxz will modify certain system settings and then display a number of fake security alerts and scan reports claiming that the system is infected with malware. Following this, the victim will be prompted to purchase the "full version" of Security Central in order to remove all the "detected" threats. Trojan.Win32.FraudPack.apxz propagates by exploiting vulnerabilities found on a compromised PC.
